Alberto Toscano Killed in Rear-End Crash on Eastin Road near Highway 33 in Crows Landing
Stanislaus County, California (July 16, 2021) – A Newman man was killed in a crash involving a tractor he was driving in Crows Landing on Friday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 5:30 a.m. on Eastin Road near Highway 33.
60-year-old Alberto Toscano was driving a John Deere tractor towing a sprayer tank when he was rear-ended by a Chevrolet pickup truck driven by 24-year-old Cesar Bravo.

The impact of the collision sent the tractor off the west side of the road where it overturned and the trailer struck a power pole.
Toscano was ejected from the vehicle during the crash. He was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
The CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
