Adrian Flores Among Four Injured in Fresno Accident that Killed Man
Fresno, California (January 22, 2022) – Authorities identified the driver who was seriously injured when his van was involved in a broadside crash with a pickup truck during foggy weather in Fresno, as per a local news source.
The driver was identified as 33-year-old Adrian Flores, of Fresno.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the wreck occurred at about 8:30 a.m. Friday on Highway 41 at Floral Avenue.
Authorities said a 17-year-old was driving a Ford F-150 truck northbound on Highway 41, and Flores was driving a Chevrolet van eastbound on Floral. As the 17-year-old approached Floral, Flores drove into the truck’s path, which broadsided his van.
A 35-year-old man in the van died at the scene. A 25-year-old man, also a passenger in the van, suffered critical injuries. Flores and two other passengers were also hospitalized with major to moderate injuries.
The report said the occupants of the pickup truck were not hurt.
The crash happened during foggy weather in the area. Visibility on the highway was about 150 feet.
Authorities are investigating the collision.
