2 Men Killed in Multi-Vehicle Collision on South Street near Gondar Avenue in Lakewood Identified
Lakewood, California (June 7, 2021) – The Los Angeles County Coroner’s office has disclosed the identities of two men who were killed in a car crash in Lakewood on Friday night, June 4.
The 10 p.m. crash happened at 6100 South Street near Gondar Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Three vehicles are reported to have collided on the roadway for unknown reasons.

49-year-old Aaron Morgan, of Lakewood, and his close friend 48-year-old John Guzzardo, of Chicago, were killed in the accident.
Guzzardo’s 14-year-old son was seriously injured in the accident and was transported to the hospital where he was admitted to the ICU.
Morgan and Guzzardo met at Northwestern University in Illinois and have been close friends since then.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
The CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
