Ricky Haines, Shannon Eldridge Killed in La Grange Head-On Collision on La Grange Road
Stanislaus County, California (June 8, 2021) – At least four people were injured in a head-on collision in La Grange, Stanislaus County, on Saturday evening, June 5.
At around 4:20 p.m., the California Highway Patrol was notified of a two-vehicle collision on La Grange Road north of Paseo Seven Legends.
The officers who responded to the incident determined that 48-year-old Ricky Andrew Haines, of Oakdale, was driving a 2008 Toyota Camry northbound on La Grange Road when he allowed his vehicle to enter the southbound lanes and collided head-on with an oncoming 2017 Ford F350 driven by 51-year-old Shannon Leann Eldridge, of Auberry.

Haines was injured in the accident and was flown to Doctor’s Medical Center in Modesto.
Eldridge and his passengers, 71-year-old Kenneth Long and 72-year-old Theresa Long, all residents of Auberry, were treated at the scene.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
The CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
