Vinsnow3 Killed, 2 Critically Hurt in Los Angeles Accident at Vermont Ave and Century Blvd
Los Angeles, California (August 27, 2023) – According to the California Highway Patrol, three persons were killed, and two others sustained critical injuries after a vehicle collision on Saturday morning in Westmont, South Los Angeles.
The deadly accident happened at about 5:25 a.m. on August 26 at South Vermont Avenue and West Century Boulevard.
Police said a white Mercedes-Benz, with the driver as the solo occupant, was traveling at a high rate of speed when it ran a red light and crashed into a Honda with a motorist and four passengers.
The crash caused one individual from the Honda to be thrown out of the car.
Three persons, only identified as females and Honda occupants, suffered fatal injuries due to the collision.
Two other individuals sustained critical injuries and were rushed to the hospital.
Police said one of the two cars involved was an Uber rideshare car, though it was not specified which one.
No other information concerning this crash was provided.
An investigation is ongoing.
