Van Nuys, California (February 11, 2022) – Two men and a woman were hospitalized after two cars collided, one of them careening into a pedestrian Friday afternoon in Van Nuys, as per the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The incident happened at about 1:10 p.m. in the 6400 block of Van Nuys Boulevard near Van Nuys Civic Center.

Two vehicles collided for unknown reasons, and one of them careened into a man, critically injuring him.

Emergency crews responded to the scene and transported the pedestrian to the hospital in critical condition. Another man and a woman were also hospitalized. The man sustained non-life-threatening injuries, and the woman was listed in serious condition.

The cause of the crash was not immediately determined, but authorities are investigating.
