2 Sisters Injured after DUI Driver Crashes into Home in Lancaster

Lancaster, California (August 23, 2021) – Two girls were injured after a suspected drunk driver crashed into their home early Monday morning.

The crash happened in the 44700 block of 27th Street East at about 1 a.m., according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Lancaster Station.

A woman was driving a 2011 Nissan Altima northbound on 27th Street east when she lost control and crashed into the bedroom of the house.

2 Girls Hurt as Suspected DUI Driver Crashes into House

A 16-year-old girl was pinned against a wall and was transported to the hospital for treatment.

The girl’s 7-year-old sister sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene.

The driver was transported to an area hospital for treatment of minor injuries. She was later arrested on suspicion of DUI.
