Eugene, California (May 30, 2021) – At least two people were killed in a traffic collision in Eugene, Stanislaus County, on Sunday afternoon.

According to the California Highway Patrol incident logs page, the crash happened at about 1:39 p.m. on Highway 4 near Milton Road, between Farmington and Copperopolis.

A black Dodge pickup truck, a Nissan SUV and possibly a third vehicle were involved in the crash. Although the manner in which the accident happened was yet to be established, the Nissan reportedly flipped onto its side after the collision.

A female party was trapped in the wreckage and had to be extricated

The CHP said two people were killed in the crash.

The identities of the deceased were not immediately disclosed.

No additional information was provided.

An investigation to establish the cause of the accident is underway.
