2 Killed in Collision at North 11th Street West and West Rancho Vista Boulevard in Palmdale, Los Angeles
Los Angeles, California (June 9, 2021) – At least two people were killed in a fiery car crash in Palmdale, Los Angeles, early Wednesday morning.
The fatal crash was reported at about 12:30 a.m. in the area of North 11th Street West and West Rancho Vista Boulevard near the Antelope Valley Mall.
The California Highway Patrol said a Dodge Challenger was speeding on the highway when it rear-ended a Toyota Camry.
The impact of the crash sent the Dodge off the roadway where it knocked down a light pole while the Camry caught fire after the collision.

Two people inside the Camry were killed in the accident. Their identities were not immediately disclosed.
The driver of the Dodge allegedly abandoned his vehicle at the scene and was yet to be apprehended.
The intersection was closed for several hours as the officers cleared the scene.
The CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
