2 Killed and 2 Injured in Highway 247 Car Crash near Parmeson Road in Lucerne Valley, San Bernardino
San Bernardino, California (July 17, 2021) – Two people were killed in a car crash in Lucerne Valley, San Bernardino, on Thursday night
At about 11:19 p.m. on July 15, the California Highway Patrol was notified of a head-on collision on State Route 247, west of Parmeson Road.
The CHP established that a 50-year-old Lancaster man was driving a 2006 GMC Yukon eastbound on Highway 247 when a westbound Honda Accord drifted across the center line and the two vehicles collided head-on.
The driver and right-front passenger of the Honda were pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

The driver of the GMC and the left rear passenger of the Honda Accord were seriously injured in the accident and were transported by Reach Air to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center for treatment.
The identities of the victims were not immediately disclosed.
The police ruled out impairment as a factor in the crash.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
The CHP is investigating the accident.
