Man Arrested after Fresno DUI Car Crash at Tulare Avenue and Cedar Avenue
Fresno, California (May 31, 2021) – A man was arrested on suspicion of DUI in connection with a car crash that left at least two people injured on Sunday night in southeast Fresno.
The collision happened in the area of Tulare and Cedar Avenues at about 10 p.m. May 30.
The California Highway Patrol said the man was driving a Mini Cooper while under the influence of alcohol when he crashed into two vehicles. A 9-year-old child was riding in the Mini Cooper at the time of the accident.
2 Injured in Two-Car Accident in Fresno, DUI Suspect Arrested
The driver of one of the cars and their passenger were transported to Community Regional Medical Center with minor injuries.
The driver of the other involved car sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene and released.
The suspect suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene before being arrested on suspicion of DUI. He was booked into the Fresno County jail.
No additional information about the multi-car accident was provided.
The CHP is investigating the collision.
