2 Girls Hit and Injured by Car at Kanan Road and Smoke Tree Avenue in Oak Park
Oak Park, California (September 13, 2022) – Two girls were injured in a pedestrian accident at an intersection in Oak Park.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at around 7:52 p.m. at Kanan Road and Smoke Tree Avenue.
Officials say a 2005 Toyota Camry was traveling northbound on Kanan Road when the driver failed to stop at a red light and struck two girls who were walking across the intersection.
The two girls were injured in the accident and were transported to Los Robles Regional Medical Center.
The Camry driver was unhurt. He remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
