Teenager Killed in Modesto Motorcycle Crash at Coffee Road and Crawford Road

Modesto, California (May 28, 2021) – A 19-year-old boy was killed in a motorcycle accident that occurred near an intersection in Modesto on Friday afternoon.
The crash was reported at about 1:45 p.m. May 28, in the area of Coffee and Crawford roads, near Claribel Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
36-year-old Jesus Alejandro of Ceres was driving a 1996 Ford Explorer northbound when, for unknown reasons, he collided with a motorcycle that had been traveling behind the SUV.

The impact of the collision ejected the rider onto a field next to the roadway.
The unidentified rider was transported to an area hospital where he died while receiving treatment.
Neither the Ford driver nor the 35-year-old passenger was injured.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
The CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
