1 Killed, 2 Injured in Head-On Collision at Rose Avenue and Gonzales Road in Oxnard
Oxnard, California (July 14, 2021) – A 13-year-old was killed in a two-vehicle collision at an intersection in Oxnard on Tuesday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 2 p.m. July 13, at the intersection of Rose Avenue and Gonzales Road.
The police established that a 2012 white Dodge Ram 2500 truck driven by a 38-year-old man was traveling south on Rose Avenue and was making a left turn onto westbound Gonzales Road when it collided with a northbound 1999 Honda Civic driven by a 46-year-old woman.

Three people inside the Honda were injured in the crash and were transported to local hospitals for treatment. Sadly, a 13-year-old succumbed to his injuries at Ventura County Medical Center.
Two occupants of the Dodge were unhurt, the CHP said.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
