Los Angeles, California (August 15, 2021) – One person was killed in a multi-vehicle collision on the 10 Freeway in Santa Monica on Saturday evening.

At about 5:46 p.m. on August 14, the California Highway Patrol and the Santa Monica Fire Department received reports of a collision on the eastbound 10 Freeway at the Lincoln Boulevard overpass.

Nine vehicles were involved in the crash. One vehicle overturned after the crash.

One person was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

One other person was hospitalized with minor injuries while another suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene and released.
