San Leandro, California (June 1, 2022) – One person was killed in a collision involving a tractor-trailer on Tuesday afternoon in San Leandro.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at around 4:10 p.m. in the area of Eden Road and Doolittle Drive, near the Oakland International Airport.
A vehicle is reported to have collided with a big rig on the roadway in unclear circumstances.
The female driver of the vehicle was killed in the crash.
The identity of the deceased person was not immediately disclosed.
A passenger in the vehicle was transported to the hospital for treatment.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
