Driver Killed in Fiery Highway 50 Car Accident near Howe Avenue in Sacramento
Sacramento, California (August 22, 2021) – One person was killed in a fiery Saturday morning crash in Sacramento, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The deadly crash happened at about 7:50 a.m. August 21, on westbound Highway 50 near the Howe Avenue onramp.
The CHP said a Jeep was disabled in the No. 3 lane of the highway when it was struck by a Ford.
Both vehicles caught fire after the collision.

The Jeep driver was killed in the accident. The identity of the victim was not disclosed.
The driver of the Ford was unhurt.
