1 Killed in DUI Car Crash on 10 Freeway near Walnut Grove in Rosemead
Rosemead, California (February 7, 2022) – A driver was killed in a suspected DUI crash early Sunday morning in Rosemead.
The deadly crash happened at about 3:40 a.m. on the San Bernardino (10) Freeway near Walnut Grove Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A driver was standing next to his disabled vehicle when he was struck by a 2016 Ford Mustang driven by Moises Rivera Luna, 31.
The man died at the scene of the crash.

The impact of the crash pushed the deceased’s car into the path of a 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe.
The driver of the Chevy was unhurt but his passenger, a 48-year-old man, was transported to Los Angeles County/USC Medical Center for treatment of moderate injuries.
Luna, a resident of Rosemead, was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving.
More details about the accident were not provided.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
