1 Killed, Deputy Injured in Car Accident at National Trails Highway and Hibiscus Street in Oro Grande
Oro Grande, California (December 26, 2022) – A motorist was killed in a collision that left a San Bernardino County sheriff’s deputy seriously injured in Oro Grande on Sunday night.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened near National Trails Highway and Hibiscus Street just after 9 p.m.
A silver Chevrolet Impala and the officer’s vehicle were involved in the collision. The Impala veered off the roadway after the crash.
The officers who arrived at the scene pronounced the driver of the Impala dead at the scene.
The sheriff’s deputy suffered major injuries and was flown to a trauma center for treatment.
