1 Killed, 1 Injured in Collision on Willow Street near Coyote Creek in Long Beach
Long Beach, California (May 4, 2022) – One person was killed in a two-vehicle collision on Tuesday evening in Long Beach.
The deadly collision happened on Willow Street near Coyote Creek at around 6:20 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
Two vehicles collided on the roadway in unclear circumstances. The impact of the collision sent one of the cars off the bridge and into the flood control below.
The Orange County Fire Authority responded to the incident and transported both drivers to the hospital.
Sadly, one of the drivers died while undergoing treatment.
The victim was not immediately identified.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
