Driver Dies in Perris Crash on San Timoteo Canyon Road near Redlands Boulevard
Riverside County, California (May 18, 2022) – One person was killed in a Tuesday afternoon collision in Riverside County, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The accident happened at around 1:30 p.m. on San Timoteo Canyon Road near Redlands Boulevard and north of Moreno Valley.
A Toyota Camry and another vehicle were involved in the collision but what led to the crash was not immediately determined.
The Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department responded to the crash shortly and declared one of the drivers dead at the scene.
The other motorist suffered minor injuries and was taken to Riverside University Medical Center in Moreno Valley.
The accident resulted in the closure of both sides of San Timoteo Canyon between Live Oak Canyon Road and Redlands Boulevard as the crew worked to remove the wreckage from the roadway.
The CHP is investigating the accident.
