Accident News Team1 Dies, 2 Hospitalized after Fresno Collision at De Wolf Avenue and Floral Avenue
Fresno County, California (June 8, 2022) – One person died, and two others were seriously injured on Tuesday night following a head-on collision that happened in Fresno County.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at around 8 p.m. at De Wolf and Floral Avenues near Selma.
A man was driving a Chevy Suburban westbound on Floral Avenue when, for unknown reasons, he turned his car directly in front of an oncoming Chevy Silverado.
Due to the impact of the crash, the Silverado caught fire and two people were trapped inside.
The Suburban driver was killed in the crash.
Two men were taken to a hospital in Fresno with major injuries.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
