Los Angeles, California (July 5, 2021) – One person was killed and another was injured in a Palmdale car crash on Friday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The deadly collision happened near the intersection of 30th Street West and Montera Avenue at about 2:25 p.m. July 2.

A white Porsche Cayenne was southbound on 30th Street West when it collided with a Green Ford Mustang that was making a left turn from northbound 30th Street West onto Montera Avenue.

The 65-year-old male driver of the Ford Mustang was killed in the accident, the CHP said.

The identity of the deceased was not immediately released.

A 49-year-old Palmdale man who was driving the Porsche was hospitalized with minor injuries.
