Apple Valley, California (May 6, 2022) – One person was killed in a motorcycle accident at an intersection in Apple Valley on Thursday morning.

The deadly collision happened at the intersection of Central Road and Sioux Road at around 10 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.

A black Yamaha motorcycle reportedly collided with a red four-door sedan in unclear circumstances.

The impact of the collision ejected the rider, who landed near a parked car.

The rider is reported to have sustained major injuries in the collision and was transported to a local hospital where he died while receiving treatment.
